Munjya Box Office Collection Day 5 Prediction: After the immense success of Stree, Roohi and Bhediya, Maddock Films is back with the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe and it is already winning hearts. We are talking about Munjya starring Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi and Sathyaraj in the lead. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya happens to be Sharvari's second film after Bunty Aur Babli 2 and marks Aditya's debut on the big screen.

Based on the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore, Munjya had managed to intrigue the audience with its spooky yet captivating teaser and trailer and witnessed an impressive response post release. Given the rave reviews, Munjya saw a good start at the box office with a collection of Rs 4 crores on the opening day following by a significant hike in numbers during the opening weekend wherein it did cross Rs 19 crores.

However, the first Monday came with a blow for Munjya but despite a dip, this horror comedy continued to have a strong hold at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya, which minted Rs 8 crores on day 3 (first Sunday), saw a significant drop in numbers and minted Rs 3.75 crores yesterday (day 4/ first Monday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 23 crores. Given the trend, Munjya is expected to rake in Rs 2.5-3 crores today (day 5/ first Tuesday) and will be crossing Rs 25 crores. While Munjya is currently facing a competition from Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's Mr and Mrs Mahi as of now, it does have another competitor eyeing to take over the box office this Friday - Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion.

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
