Munjya Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: Sharvari’s Film To Stay Strong In Week 1; To Cross 30Cr

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, which is known for giving some impressive horror comedies like Stree, Bhediya and Roohi, is now making headlines for their recent horror comedy - Munjya. Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the movie features Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi and Sathyaraj in the lead and happens to be the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe. Released on June 7, the movie has been creating ripples in the town since the first day.

To note, Munjya, which happens to be Abhay Verma's big screen debut, is based on the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore. The movie has been winning hearts with its spooky and humour quotient along with Abhay Verma's impressive chemistry with Sharvari and Mona Singh. As Munjay managed to create a substantial buzz in the town with its impressive trailer, it did open to rave reviews along with a good start at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 4 crores. Interestingly, the opening weekend saw a notable jump in numbers and Munjya managed to cross Rs 19 crores mark at the box office.

Though, the first Monday did come with a blow for Munjya, it has been undoubtedly holding its ground and it going stronger with every day. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya, which minted Rs 4 crores on day 4 (first Monday), saw a hike in numbers on day 5 (first Tuesday) and raked in Rs 4.3 crores which took the overall numbers of the movie to Rs 27.55 crores. Given the ongoing trend, Munjya is likely to roar loud once and mint Rs 3.5-4 crores today (day 6/ first Wednesday) taking the overall collection over Rs 30 crores mark. It will be interesting to see how much Munjya will mint in its first week

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
