Munjya Box Office Collection Day 6: Sharvari’s Film Mints Half Of Stree’s 1st Wednesday Earnings; Crosses 30Cr

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 6: Sharvari, who made her debut with Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2, is now making headlines for her recent release which is winning hearts. We are talking about Munjya which is a horror comedy and also features Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, Suhas Joshi and Sathyaraj along with Munjya which was created with CGI technology. This Aditya Sarpotdar directorial has managed to create a massive buzz in the town ever since the teaser of released dishing out complete spooky vibes

To note, Munjya is based on the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore and happens to be the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe. As Munjya was released on June 7, it managed to win hearts with its storyline and impressive VFX. Given the rave reviews, Munjya raked in Rs 4 crores at the box office on the opening day and saw a decent hike in the collections during the opening weekend. Interestingly, Munjya did see massive drop in collections on the first Monday but did hold its ground strongly.

Interestingly, Munjya has been going strong and steady at the box office during the first week. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya raked in Rs 3.75 crores on first Monday (day 4) and saw a slight hike in collections on day 5 (first Tuesday). Interestingly, Day 6 came with a slight drop in numbers and Munjya minted Rs 3.9 crores on first Wednesday which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 31.3 crores. To note, Munjya has minted almost half of Stree's collections on its first Monday which happened to be Rs 6.55 crores

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
