Munjya Box Office Collection Day 7 Prediction: Sharvari and Abhay Verma have been grabbing eyeballs for their first collaboration and it is undoubtedly breaking the internet. We are talking about Munjya which is a horror comedy based on the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore. Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya also features Mona Singh, Suhas Joshi and Sathyaraj in the lead and happens to be the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe. From the teaser to trailers, cast to storyline, everything about Munjya has managed to leave the audience intrigued.

Given the substantial buzz in the town, Munjya opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics and it was evident in its box office journey. To note, Munjya has managed to rake in Rs 4 crores on the opening day and has been going strong at the box office ever since. After a hike in numbers during the opening weekend, Munjya did see a dip in numbers on first Monday but minted the same amount as on the opening day. And ever since then, Munya refuses to slow down and is maintaining a good hold.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya minted Rs 4.15 crores on first Tuesdya (day 5) followed by a dip of around 6% in numbers yesterday (day 6/ first Wednesday) wherein it earned Rs 3.9 crores which took teh overall collections of the movie to Rs 31.3 crores. Given the trend, Munjya is expected to earn Rs 3-3.5 crores today (day 7/ first Thursday) and will be inching close to Rs 35 crores mark in the first week. With Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion hitting the theatres tomorrow, it will be interesting to see how Munjya will fare at the box office post the new release

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character". Besides, Prime Focus Group has once again taken audiences to a different world with their mastery of VFX in Munjya. It took more than a year to create the eerie and mischievous protagonist from scratch using cutting-edge computer-generated imagery (CGI) for Munjya.
