Munjya Box Office Collection Day 8 Prediction: Sharvari and Abhay Verma are the new onscreen pair in the town and this jodi is undoubtedly winning hearts with their first collaboration. We are talking about Munjya which happens to be a horror comedy and also stars Sathyaraj, Suhas Joshi and Mon Singh in key roles. Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is based on the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore and is the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe

From the intriguing teaser to trailer and the CGI creature Munjya, everything about this horror comedy has managed to captivate the audience. And while Munjya opened to rave reviews, it made a collection of Rs 4 crores on the opening day followed by an impressive hike during the first weekend. Though first Monday saw a dip of over 80% in numbers, it managed to rake a collection equal to the opening days numbers. And evder since then, Munjya has been enjoying a good hold at the box office.

In fact, Munjya has been quite unfazed by the competition from Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mr and Mrs Mahi at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya raked in Rs 4 crores day 6 (first Wednesday) followed by an earning of Rs 3.9 crores on day 7 (first Wednesday) taking the over all collections of the movie to Rs 35.3 crores. Given the trend, Munjya is expected to roar loud at the box office today (day 8/ second Friday) and is likely to mint Rs 3-3.5 crores as it inches close to Rs 40 crores mark. Interestingly, Munjya will now be facing a competition from Kartik Aaryan's recent release Chandu Champion and it will be interesting to see if the horror comedy will manage to survive this competition.

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
