Munjya Box Office Day 14 Prediction: Sharvari’s Film Stays Strong In Week 2; Inches Towards 70Cr Mark

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 14 Prediction: Abhay Verma is the new talent in the industry and he is creating ripped with his first film itself. The actor, who became a household name with his stint in Manoj Bajpayee's The Family Man 2, is now creating ripping for his first big screen release Munjya. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is a horror comedy based on the legend of Munjya which is inspired by Indian folklore. Interestingly, it is the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi and Bhediya and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Also starring Sharvari, Mona Singh, Suhasini Joshi, Sathyaraj and Taranjot Sinhg, Munjya managed to create a massive buzz with its interesting storyline and the VFx. Interestingly, Munjya opened to rave reviews and fans have been in absolute awe Abhay's performance in the horror comedy. To note, Munjya recorded an opening day collection of Rs 4 crores and saw an impressive growth during the opening weekend. In fact, Munjya managed to have a strong hold at the box office during the first week and even crossed Rs 50 crores during the second weekend.

Though Munjya has been seeing significant drop in numbers during the second week, it has managed to have a good hold at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya minted Rs 5.25 crores on day 11 (second Monday) followed by a collection of Rs 3.4 crores on day 12 (second Tuesday). The horror comedy went on to collect Rs 2.85 crores yesterday (day 13/ second Wednesday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 65.30 crores. Given the trend, Munjya is expected to mint Rs 2-2.5 crores today (day 14/ second Thursday) and will be seen inching close to Rs 70 crores mark now.

Meanwhile, talking about her character in Munjya, Sharvari told ETimes, "My character is a modern girl who wants to achieve her dreams and prioritises them before everything else, which I think we all do nowadays. Many girls will relate to my character. Her dating life is also quite confusing, many girls will relate to that too. A very beautifully written character".
