Pushpa 2 Box Office Day 14 (Hindi): Allu Arjun Film Beats Baahubali 2, Stree 2; Records Highest Week 2 Number

Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 14 (Hindi): Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna have all the reasons to be on cloud nine. The movie, which has been the sequel to the 2021 release Pushpa: The Rise, is an action drama that has been helmed by Sukumar and also features Fahadh Faasil as the lead antagonist. The movie had hit the screens on December 5 and has shattered numerous records, solidifying its place in Indian cinema history. To note, Pushpa 2 had hit the screens in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

Interestingly, Pushap 2 has achieved remarkable success in the Hindi speaking market. After making an opening day collection of Rs 70.3 crores in the Hindi market, Pushpa 2 has been unstoppable since the first day and saw a phenomenal opening weekend. In fact, the movie saw a decent run at the box office during the first week and saw an impressive hike during the second weekend. This isn't all. Pushpa 2 maintained a strong hold at the box office during the second week.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 has been witnessing a continuous drop in collection in the second week. The movie raked in Rs 18.5 crores on day 13 (second Tuesday) and saw a slight drop wherein it minted Rs 16.5 crores on day 14 (second Wednesday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 607.6 crores in the Hindi market.

Pushpa 2 Records Highest Week 2 Collection (Hindi)

Interestingly, with a collection of Rs 16.5 crores on the second Wednesday, Pushpa 2 has managed to record a week 2 collection of Rs 209.5 crores. To note, the Allu Arjun starrer has managed to create a record of highest week 2 collection after beating Baahubali 2 and Stree 2. For the uninitiated, Baahubali 2 had raked in Rs 143.25 crores in week 2 while Stree 2 minted Rs 141.4 crores.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun got candid about Pushpa 2 breaking language barriers at a promotional event and stated, "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
