Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 2 (Hindi): Allu Arjun has all the reasons to grin from ear to ear and for all the right reasons. After all, the mega star is back on the big screen after three years with the much anticipated release Pushpa 2: The Rule. Directed by Sukumar, the action drama is the sequel to the 2021 release Pushpa: The Rise which was a hit among the audience. While Allu Arjun plays the titular role of Pushpa Raj in the film, the movie also features Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj in the lead.

To note, Pushpa 2 was released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages. Interestingly, Pushpa 2: The Rule has managed to open to rave reviews and saw a record shattering start at the box office. In fact, Pushpa 2, which had created a massive buzz in the town with its impressive trailers and peppy songs, created history as it recorded the highest opening day collection in the Hindi market and managed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan on the day of release.

As Pushpa 2 started that box office journey in the Hindi market with an opening day collection of Rs 70.3 crores, the movie saw a drop of around 21% in collections on day 2 (first Friday). According to a report published in Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 raked in Rs 55 crores on day 2 in the Hindi market which took the overall collections of the movie of the movie to Rs 125.3 crores for the Hindi version

Pushpa 2 Beats Animal To Record Highest First Friday Collection

Though Pushpa 2 has seen a drop in numbers, it has managed to create a record at the box office on the second day as well. Yes! With a collection of Rs 55 crores in the Hindi market, Pushpa 2 has managed to beat Animal to record the highest first Friday collection and also recorded the highest second day collection of all times. For the uninitiated, Animal had minted Rs 54.75 crores on its first Friday post release.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun got candid about Pushpa 2 breaking language barriers at a promotional event and stated, "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
