Pushpa 2 Opening Weekend Collection (Hindi): Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2, which had hit the theatres on December 5, has taken the box office by fire since the first day. The Telugu action drama, which is helmed by Sukumar, was also released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages. To note, Pushpa 2 is the much talked about sequel to the 2021 release Pushpa 1 and marks Allu Arjun's return to the big screen after 3 years. On the other hand, it also marks his second collaboration with Rashmika who plays the female lead in the movie.

Apart from Allu Arjun and Rashmika, Pushpa 2 also features Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj in the lead. As Pushpa 2 was released amid massive fan buzz, it opened to rave reviews from the audience and took the box office by a storm in every language. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 made a collection of Rs 73.5 crores on day 3 (first Saturday) and an earning of Rs 85 crores on day 4 (first Sunday) in the Hindi market. Interestingly, Pushpa 2 made a collection of Rs 158.5 crores in the opening weekend only in the Hindi market

Given an impressive performance in the Hindi market during the opening weekend, Pushpa 2 has created another record at the box office. To note, Pushpa 2 has managed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and recorded the highest opening weekend collection in Hindi market. For the uninitiated, Jawan had raked in Rs 140.35 crores during its opening weekend in Hindi.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun got candid about Pushpa 2 breaking language barriers at a promotional event and stated, "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
