After recording the highest opening day collection of all time and even witnessing a stupendous hike in numbers during the opening weekend, Pushpa 2 saw a massive drop in collections on the first Monday after release. Pushpa 2 Fails To Beat Tiger 3
Interestingly, Pushpa 2 has become the fastest movie to cross the Rs 300 crores mark (in 5 days) and managed to beat Jawan's record of entering the coveted club in 6 days. However, with the significant drop in numbers, Pushpa 2 failed to beat Salman Khan's Tiger 3 and recorded the second highest first Monday collection. To note, Tiger 3 had earned Rs 58 crores on its first Monday post release.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun got candid about Pushpa 2 breaking language barriers at a promotional event and stated, "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
