Pushpa 2 Box Office Day 8 (Hindi): Allu Arjun’s Film Crosses 425Cr; Beats Animal & Jawan To Create THIS Record

Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 8 (Hindi): Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule has completed a week at the box office and it continues to roar loud. To note, Pushpa 2 is the sequel to the 2021 release Pushpa: The Rise and also features Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Dhananjaya in key roles. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 is an action drama which was released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages and opened to rave reviews across the world.

To note, Pushpa 2 features Allu Arjun in the lead role of Pushpa Raj while Rashmika plays the role of his love interest Srivalli. On the other hand, Fahadh Faasil has also been making heads turn with his impressive performance as the lead antagonist Bhanwar Singh Shekawat. Interestingly, Pushpa 2 has revived the box office as it has been creating new records every day and is going strong at the ticket windows even after the first week

Pushpa 2 witnessed a phenomenal run at the box office during the first week and went on to earn Rs 398.1 crores in the Hindi market. The action drama saw a slight drop in numbers as it entered the second week and earned Rs 27.5 crores on dya 8 (second Thursday) which took the overall collection of Pushpa 2 Hindi version to Rs 425.6 crores

Interestingly, Pushpa 2, with its continuous strong hold, has become the fastest film to cross Rs 400 crores mark in the Hindi market surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan's record which took 11 days to achieve the feat. This isn't all. Pushpa 2 has also managed to beat Ranbir Kapoor's Animal (Rs 21.56 crores) to record the highest 8th day collection. On the other hand, Pushpa 2 has also registered highest 8 days collection and highest second Thursday collection record to its name.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun got candid about Pushpa 2 breaking language barriers at a promotional event and stated, "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
