As Pushpa 2 has been witnessing a continuous drop in collections in the Hindi market, it is still maintaining a strong hold at the box office despite the dip. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Pushpa 2, which earned Rs 36 crores on day 6 (first Tuesday), saw a slight drop yesterday wherein it earned Rs 30 crores on day 7 (first Wednesday). It took the overall collections of the film to Rs 398.1 crores

Pushpa 2 To Beat Baahubali 1 Lifetime Collection

Given the ongoing trend, Pushpa 2 is set to enter the coveted Rs 400 crores club today and will be becoming the fastest movie to achieve the feat in Hindi market. The action drama is expected to earn Rs 25-30 crores today (day 8/ second Thursday) and is likely to touch Rs 425 crores in Hindi. If the reports turned out to be true, Pushpa 2 will be crossing the lifetime collection of Prabhas' Baahubali: The Beginning. For the uninitiated, Baahubali has raked in Rs 421 crores during its run at the box office.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun got candid about Pushpa 2 breaking language barriers at a promotional event and stated, "Doing a Hindi film was such a huge thing even to aspire for. We used to have that thing that, 'Maybe in our lifetime we will do one Hindi film'. It was that far away for us to do the Hindi film. So from that mindset to coming to this stage and standing here is a very big thing for me".
