Amid high anticipation, Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 hit cinemas worldwide yesterday (December 5). The film opened to positive reviews from fans and critics alike, earning the tag of a 'massy entertainer'. While the majority of the earning is coming from the Telugu region, the film is breaking records in the Hindi belt as well.

As per Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 raked in around Rs 178.4 cr on the opening day. The movie earned approximately Rs 85 cr (net) in Telugu and scored around Rs 70.3 cr in the Hindi belt on the opening day.

According to a tweet shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Hindi version of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 has become the highest-opening film in Hindi, along with the highest non-holiday and non-festival opening Hindi film ever. It also recorded the highest opening day collection for a Hindi dubbed film.

Pushpa 2 OTT Release Updates

The post-theatrical digital streaming rights of Pushpa 2 have already been acquired by Netflix. As per reports, the sequel might have its OTT premiere on Netflix in the second week of February 2025. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
