Sarfira Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar has been all over the headlines these days and rightfully so. After all his much anticipated film Sarfira has finally hit the screens. Also starring Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan and Seema Biswas in the lead, Sarfira is helmed by Sudha Kongara. The movie marks Akshay's first collaboration with Radhika and happens to be a remake of Suriya's hit film Sorarai Pottru. To note, Sarfira happens to be Akshay's 150th film and he is quite excited about it.
For the uninitiated, Sarfira revolves around a man who has the aim to make affordable airlines for low income people which several enemies try to impede. From the trailer to songs, Akshay-Radhika's chemistry and the inspiring storyline, everything about Sarfira has been grabbing eyeballs. And while the makers had begun the advance booking for Sarfira a few days ago, it saw an average response from the audience.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sarfira has failed to cross Rs 1 crores at the box office in terms of advance booking. The film made a collection of Rs 62.05 lakhs in the first 24 hours ahead of the release as the movie has managed to sell over 30,560 tickets.
Meanwhile, talking about Sarfira, Akshay stated, "This is my 150th film and it is my best film. I am very thankful to Sudha for giving me this film and the opportunity to be in it". He was further seen singing praises for co-star Radhika and asserted, "This is the best performance I have ever seen. I don't know what you all think about her. She is not Maharashtrian, but she has acted like one. She is very well-spoken. Her language was very good and she has gone through whole classes to learn how to speak Marathi and what to say. That is what she has done".
