Sarfira Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: Akshay Kumar has come up with his second release of the year and his massive fan following can't keep calm about it. We are talking about Sarfira which also features Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal in the lead. Helmed by Sudha Kongara, Sarfira is the remake of Suriya's hit film Sorarai Pottru and marks Akshay's first collaboration with Radhika Madan. In fact, Sarfira also features a cameo by Suriya and the storyline and stellar cast has managed to create a massive buzz in the town.

To note, Sarfira is an adaptation of G. R. Gopinath's memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey and revolves around a man who has the aim to make affordable airlines for low income people which several enemies try to impede. While film has released amid immense buzz, it opened to mixed reviews from the audience. In fact, Sarfira has witnessed a slow start at the box office and failed to make the box office jingle.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sarfira made a collection of Rs 2.5 crores on the opening day followed by a hike in numbers on the second day (first Saturday) wherein it raked in Rs 4.25 crores which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 6.75 crores. Given the trend, Sarfira is likely to see another hike in numbers and might rake in Rs 5-6 crores crossing Rs 10 crores mark. To note, Sarfira is facing a competition from Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD and the dystopian science fiction film has managed to crush Akshay Kumar's starrer.

Meanwhile, talking about Sarfira, Akshay stated, "This is my 150th film and it is my best film. I am very thankful to Sudha for giving me this film and the opportunity to be in it". He was further seen singing praises for co-star Radhika and asserted, "This is the best performance I have ever seen. I don't know what you all think about her. She is not Maharashtrian, but she has acted like one. She is very well-spoken. Her language was very good and she has gone through whole classes to learn how to speak Marathi and what to say. That is what she has done".
