Sarfira Box Office Collection Day 7 Prediction: Akshay Kumar starrer Sarfira has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs ever since it was announced. After all, it happens to be the official remake of Tamil movie Sorarai Pottru featuring Suriya in the lead. Helmed by Sudha Kongara, Sarfira came with an interesting ensemble of cast including Akshay, Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal and Seema Biswas along with a cameo by Suriya. From trailer to songs, everything about Sarfira has managed to create a massive buzz in the town.
As Sarfira has released amid massive buzz, it witnessed a slow start at the box office with an opening day collections of Rs 2.5 crores. The movie did see a hike in numbers during the opening weekend, it witnessed a significant drop in collections on the first Monday. However, despite witnessing a tough competition from Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD, Sarfira has been trying to have a hold at the box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sarfira raked in Rs 1.45 crores on day 4 (first Monday) followed by a collection of Rs 1.95 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday). The movie saw a slight growth in numbers on day 6 (first Wednesday) and minted Rs 2 crores as per early estimates which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 17.40 crores. Given the trend, Sarfira is likely to mint Rs 1.5-2 crores today (day 7/first Thursday) and will cross Rs 19 crores mark in the first week and is likely to make a lifetime collection of Rs 30 crores. Interestingly, as Sarfira will be facing a fresh competition from Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Vir starrer Bad Newz which will hit the screens on July 19.
Meanwhile, talking about Sarfira, Akshay stated, "This is my 150th film and it is my best film. I am very thankful to Sudha for giving me this film and the opportunity to be in it". He was further seen singing praises for co-star Radhika and asserted, "This is the best performance I have ever seen. I don't know what you all think about her. She is not Maharashtrian, but she has acted like one. She is very well-spoken. Her language was very good and she has gone through whole classes to learn how to speak Marathi and what to say. That is what she has done".
