Sarfira vs Indian 2 Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: The month of July has come up with an interesting clash at the box office which has got everyone excited. We are talking about the clash between Akshay Kumar's Sarfira and Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2. Both have been one of the most anticipated releases of the year and have managed to create a substantial buzz at the box office. After all, it brings the clash between Akshay Kumar and Kamal Haasan which has got the fans excited.

For the uninitiated, Sarfira, which features Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal in the lead, is the remake of Suriya starrer Sorari Pottru. The movie happens to be Akshay's 150th film and narrates the story of a man who has the aim to make affordable airlines for low income people which several enemies try to impede. On the other hand, Indian 2, which is helmed by S Shankar is the sequel to the 1996 release Indian and features Kamal Haasan reprising his role of Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption.

With two big films having a clash at the box office, there have been speculations about which movie will fare better. According to film trade analyst and producer Girish Johar, "Sarfira is a little urban, Indian 2 is a little mass, so the latter has agood chance to work at the box office. Depending upon the commercial connect with the audience, it should do well". He also emphasised that while Sarfira is likely to make a collection of Rs 2-3 crores at the box office on the opening day, Indian 2 is likely to open with over Rs 3 crores in the Hindi market. While the numbers will be out late, it will be interesting to see if Akshay's Sarfira will maange to beat Rajinikanth's Indian 2.

Meanwhile, talking about Indian 2, Kamal Haasan stated that he has loved Indian 3 more. "Truth be told, the only reason why I accepted to do the second part is because of the third part only. I am a big fan of the third part. Usually, people say that they like the first half or second half of the film better than the first half. My second half is Indian 3. I have been praising the film by myself and I am only tensed that there's a six-month wait for it," he added.
