Directed by S. Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan in the lead, Indian 2 is the much-awaited sequel to the iconic 1996 film 'Indian'. The sequel, released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, under the titles 'Indian 2,' 'Hindustani 2', and 'Bharateeyudu 2,' respectively, has been having a decent run at the box office.

According to Sacnilk, Hindustani 2 collected Rs 1.2 cr on the opening day. As the report further suggests, the film managed to rake in around Rs 1.3 cr (early estimates) in the Hindi belt on first Saturday. Now, the total 2-day collection of Hindustani 2 is estimated to be around Rs 2.5 crores.
