Sarfira Vs Indian 2 (Hindustani 2) Box Office Collection Day 3: After the iconic 'Maidaan Vs Bade miyan Chote Miyan', Akshay Kumar once had a box office clash with his latest release. Khiladi Kumar locked horns with Kamal Haasan last Friday with the highly-anticipated Sarfira Vs Indian 2 clash. Both the films hit cinemas on 12th July. While both Sarfira and Indian 2 are facing tough competition from Prabhas-Deepika Padukone's Kalki 2898 AD, Akshay's film is running ahead of the Kamal Haasan starrer in the race. Starring Akshay Kumar-Radhikka Madan in the lead and directed by Sudha Kongara, Sarfira is the Hindi remake of Suriya's 2020 blockbuster Tamil film 'Soorarai Pottru', which is based on G. R. Gopinath's memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey.

After a slow start at the box office, Akshay's social-drama saw a hike in the numbers during the opening weekend. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Sarfira opened to a collection of Rs 2.5 cr and made a collection of Rs 4.25 crores on day 2 (first Saturday) followed by Rs 5.35 cr on day 3 (first Sunday). The total collection now stands at Rs 12 crores in 3 days.

Day 1 (Friday) - ₹ 2.5 Cr

Day 2 (Saturday) - ₹ 4.25 Cr

Day 3 (Sunday) - ₹ 5.35 Cr

Total - Rs 12 CRORES!

Indian 2 (Hindustani 2) Box Office Collection Day 3

Directed by S. Shankar, Indian 2 - much-awaited sequel to the iconic 1996 film 'Indian' - stars Kamal Haasan in the lead. The film has been released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, under the titles 'Indian 2,' 'Hindustani 2', and 'Bharateeyudu 2,' respectively.

According to Sacnilk, Hindustani 2 raked in Rs 1.2 cr on the opening day. As the report further suggests, the film earned Rs 1.3 cr on day 2 (first Saturday) and Rs 1.4 cr on day (first Sunday), taking the collection to Rs 3.9 crores in the Hindi belt.

Day 2 (Saturday) - ₹ 1.3 cr

Day 3 (Sunday) - ₹ 1.4 cr
