Shaitaan Advance Booking Day 1 Report: Ajay Devgn’s Horror Thriller To Collect 50 Lakhs 4 Days Ahead Of Releas

Shaitaan Advance Booking Day 1 Report

Ajay Devgn has been all over the headlines and rightfully so. After all, he is coming up with an exciting horror thriller which has got the fans intrigued. We are talking about Shaitaan, which is helmed by Vikas Bahl and also features R Madhavan and Jyothika in the lead. The movie has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Interestingly, while Ajay and Jyothika will be seen romancing each other, R Madhavan will be seen playing the role of the lead antagonist. From the teaser to trailer and even songs, everything about Shaitaan has managed to grab the eyeballs. And as Shaitaan is set to hit the screens on March 8, the makers have started with the advance booking five days ahead of the release.

Interestingly, Shaitaan advance booking has received a decent response so far and the movie is likely to witness a decent start at the box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Shaitaan has managed to mint Rs 46.03 lakhs from advance booking so far with the sold of over 19 thousand tickets.

Shaitaan Advance Booking Report:

Hindi 2D: 46,02,693 [46.03 Lac]

Tickets Sold: 19, 859

Shows: 4104

Average Ticket Price: 219

Interestingly, R Madhavan got candid about working with Ajay Devgn for the first time and said, "I have been in the industry long enough to know that if there is a real Singham in the industry, it is him. I have been a huge fan of Ajay sir's work, especially the way he emotes subtly, and the kind of roles he does. I have not had much time to interact with him before this movie. But I have become a huge fan of his with this one, when he offered me Shaitaan, I asked him why he wasn't playing my role which is bigger, and I did not know the importance of this character. The teaser or trailer, all revolves around my character. It takes a certain maturity and passion towards the craft for someone to just give all the limelight decorated on a plate to another artist. I was completely mind-blown by this. I hope I can do justice to the kindness Ajay Sir has shown towards me."

To note, Shaitaan is said to be the remake of Gujarati movie Vash and is slated to hit the screens on March 8. Produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, Shaitaan marks Jyotika's retun to Bollywood after 25 years. She was last seen in 1997 release Doli Saja Ke Rakhna opposite Akshaye Khanna.
