Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 17: Rohit Shetty's Singham Again has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced as it featured Ajay Devgn reprising his iconic role as Bajirao Singham and thrilled fans who have awaited his return for a decade. The cop drama has been the fifth installment in Shetty's celebrated cop universe after Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. Interestingly, Singham Again marks Rohit Shetty's 11th collaboration with Ajay Devgn and the fans can't keep calm about it.

Adding to the allure of Singham Again, the film features an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor in pivotal roles. Interestingly, Arjun Kapoor has stepped into the shoes of the lead antagonist and brought a fresh dynamic to the film. Besides, Singham Again also included a special appearance by Salman Khan, who portrays Chulbul Singham in a cameo role, further adding to the film's star power and appeal.

As Singham Again has been struggling during the second week, it took a sigh of relief during the third weekend. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Singham Again saw a jump of over 21% in the numbers on day 16 (third Saturday) wherein it earned Rs 3.35 crores followed by a collection of Rs 4.25 crores on day 17 (third Sunday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 230.85 crore. As Singham Again has failed to touch Rs 5 crores mark during the third weekend, it seems to be the effect of the release of Suriya and Bobby Deol starrer Kanguva.

Singham Again Fails To Beat Sooryavanshi

Despite a steady hold at the box office, Singham Again has failed to beat Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi at the box office. For the uninitiated, Sooryavanshi had minted Rs 5.33 crores at the box office on its third Sunday of release.

Meanwhile, Ajay is overwhelmed with the audience's response to Singham Again. In a conversation with ANI, Ajay stated, "I am very happy that people are liking this film. The film is running for quite long now. A good revenue is being generated for the theatres. People are going to watch this film..."
