Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 3: Ajay’s Cop Drama Sees 17% Dip On 1st Sunday; Beats Simmba, RRR

Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 3: Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. After all, it brought Ajay as Bajirao Singham on the big screen after almost a decade. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again is the fifth addition to the filmmaker's cop universe after Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba and Sooryavanshi. Apart from Ajay, Singham Again also features a special cameo by Salman Khan who will be seen playing the role of Chulbul Singham in the film.

To note, Singham Again stars Kareena Kapoor Khan reprising her role of Avni from Singham Returns, along with Arjun Kapoor as the lead antagonist, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff in the lead. Based on the theme of Ramaya, Singham Again managed to create a substantial buzz in the town and opened to decent reviews from the audience.

Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 3

After making an opening day collection of Rs 43.5 crores followed by a dip in numbers on day 2 wherein Singham Again raked in Rs 42.5 crores. However, day 3 (first Saturday) came with a massive drop of 17% in collections as it minted Rs 35 crores on day 3 (first Sunday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 121 crores.

Singham Again Beats Simmba & RRR

Interestingly, despite the dip in numbers, Singham Again has managed to beat Ranveer Singh's Simmba and Prabhas' RRR on the first Sunday. For the uninitiated, Simmba had minted Rs 31.06 crores on the first Sunday while RRR had earned Rs 31.5 crores.

Meanwhile, Singham Again will be having a box office clash with Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is a horror comedy. It will be interesting to see who will win the box office game. Let us know which film you are supporting.
