Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 5: Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty make for a hit actor-director duo who have given us several hit movies over the years. These include Sunday, Golmaal series, Singham series and more. And now Ajay and Rohit have collaborated once again for another cop drama and the audience can't keep calm. We are talking about Singham Again which the third installment of the Singham franchise and fifth film in Rohit Shetty's cop universe. Featuring Ajay reprising his role of Bajirao Singham, Singham Again has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Apart from Ajay, Singham Again also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff. Based on the theme of Ramayana, Singham Again also introduced Salman Khan to Rohit Shetty's cop universe as he played the role of Chulbul Singham. Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 5

After crossing Rs 100 crores mark during the opening weekend, Singham Again has been witnessing a continuous drop in numbers in the first week. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Singham Again saw a drop of 49.65% on first Monday (day 4) wherein it raked in Rs 18 crores. This was followed by another dip in numbers as Singham Again minted Rs 13.5 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday) and crossed Rs 150 crores mark as the movies total nett collection in India stand at Rs 153.25 crores.

Singham Again Mints Half Of Simmba's Collection

To note, as Singham Again has been witnessing an significant drop in collections, it has failed to beat Ranveer Singh's much talked about film Simmba on its day 5 of release. For the uninitiated, Simmba, which had released in 2018, had minted Rs 28.19 crores. It is evident that Singham Again has minuted around half the collection of Simmba on day 5. Besides, Singham Again is witnessing a box office clash with Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. It will be interesting to see if this Rohit Shetty directorial will pick up pace ahead of the second weekend.
