Singham Again Box Office Day 2: Ajay’s Film Sees Dip Amid Clash With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3; Beats Baahubali 2

Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 2: Ajay Devgn is back as Bajirao Singham for Rohit Shetty's much talked about Singham Again and we can't keep calm about it. The cop action drama is the fifth addition to Rohit Shetty's cop universe after Singham, Singham Again, Simmba and Sooryavanshi. Boasting a stellar cast of Ajay, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, Singham Again happens to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

To note, Singham Again happens to be the sequel of the 2014 release Singham Returns and revolves around the Ramayana theme. Interestingly, while Singham Again marks the entry of several new cops, it features Arjun Kapoor as the lead antagonist. This isn't all. Singham Again also features a special cameo by Salman Khan which has got the tongues wagging. As Singham Again has opened amid a massive buzz in the town, it saw a decent start at the box office.

Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 2

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Singham Again made an opening day collection of Rs 43.5 crores. This was followed by a slight drop in collection on day 2 (first Saturday) wherein it minted Rs 41.50 crores and took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 85 crores.

Singham Again BEATS Baahubali 2 On First Saturday

Interestingly, despite a drop in numbers Singham Again has managed to beat Baahubali 2 on the first Saturday. For the uninitiated, Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2 had minted Rs 40.5 crores on its first Saturday of release.

Meanwhile, Singham Again will be having a box office clash with Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is a horror comedy. It will be interesting to see who will win the box office game. Let us know which film you are supporting.
