To note, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a horror comedy by Anees Bazmee while Singham Again happens to be a cop drama helmed by Rohit Shetty. Despite their different genres, both the films have managed to create a substantial buzz in the town and emerged as the most anticipated releases of the year which even took the box office by a storm

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which features Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Raaz and Ashwini Kalsekar, witnessed a good start at the box office. In fact, the movie managed to cross Rs 100 crores mark in the opening weekend only. However, the first Monday came with a significant drop in collections. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 minted Rs 18 crores on day 4 (first Monday) and this was followed by a collection of Rs 13.5 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday) which took the overall collections of this horror comedy to Rs 137.5 crores.

On the other hand, Singham Again, which is the fifth film of Rohit Shetty's cop universe, comes with a stellar cast of Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff. The movie opened to decent reviews and saw a great start at the box office. However, it saw a drop numbers since the second day. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Singham Again minted Rs 18 crores on day 4 (first Monday) and this was followed by a collection of Rs 14 crores on day 5 (first Tuesday) which took the overall collections of this horror comedy to Rs 153.75 crores.

It is evident Singham Again continues its lead over Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on day 5 at the box office in India and as of now it is leading with Rs 50 lakhs. However, the difference between their respective box office collections seems to be reducing with every day. It will be interesting to see if the Kartik's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will surpass Singham Again in the coming days.
