Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 14 Prediction: Rajkummar’s Film Holds Steady In Week 2; Moves Towards 35Cr

Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 14 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao is one of the most versatile and phenomenal actors in the industry. He is known for bringing most heartwarming stories to the big screen and it is always a treat to watch him perform. Interestingly, Rajkummar is all over the news these days for his recent release Srikanth which has been winning hearts across the world. To note, the movie is helmed by Tushar Hiranandani and also features Jyothika, Sharad Kelkar and Alay F in the lead.

Srikanth happens to be a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries with Rajkummar playing the titular role. The actor has clearly left a mark with his impressive performance in the movie and Srikanth has opened to rave reviews from the audience. Interestingly, Srikanth recorded an opening day collection of Rs 2.25 crores and saw a decent growth in collection during the opening weekend.

While Srikanth was seen witnessing a dip in numbers post the opening weekend, the positive word of mouth helped this Rajkummar Rao starrer to have a good hold at the box office. Interestingly, Srikanth saw an impressive jump in collections during the second weekend following which the movie crossed Rs 26 crores mark. Though the second Monday saw another major drop in numbers, Srikanth has managed to be steady post that.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Srikanth minted Rs 1.5 crores on day 11 (second Monday) followed by a collection of Rs 1.25 crores on day 12 (second Tuesday). The early estimates also suggested that Srikanth has recorded Rs 1.25 crores yesterday (day 13/ second Wednesday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 30.10 crores. Given the trend, Srikanth is expected to mint Rs 1-1.2 crores today (day 14/ second Thursday) and will be seen inching towards Rs 35 crores mark now. It will be interesting to see if Srikanth can pick up pace in the third weekend.

Interestingly, as Rajkummar is enjoying the love coming his way with Srikant, he is now gearing up for his second release - Mr and Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor. Helmed by Sharan Sharma, the movie marks Rajkummar's second collaboration with Janvhi after Roohi. Recently, Janhvi got candid about the movie and said, "Our director is a purist and works with a lot of honesty, so he wanted me to become a cricketer for the film. He didn't want any cheating on that, didn't want to use VFX, or do anything half-heartedly. He wanted me to be one with this universe, be a cricketer wholeheartedly. I suffered a lot of injuries as well while prepping. Both my shoulders were dislocated, but I'd like to give all the credit to him, the director, and both my coaches Abhishek Nayar and Vikrant sir, who have done a lot of hard work and have held my hand at every turn"
