Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 15 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao has all the reasons to grin ear to ear these days. After all, while it is a week left for the release of Mr and Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor, his recent release is winning hearts of millions of people already. We are talking about Tushar Hiranandani directorial Srikanth which also features Alaya F, Jyothika and Sharad Kelkar in the lead. To note, Srikanth happens to be a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries with Rajkummar playing the titular role.

The movie happens to be an endearing watch and Rajkummar's performance in the movie has left everyone in awe with fans demanding a National Award for him. Interestingly, Srikanth recorded the opening day collection of Rs 2.25 crores at the box office and saw a decent hike in numbers during the opening weekend wherein it made a total collection of over Rs 11 crores. While the first Monday saw a major dip in numbers, Srikanth managed to have a strong hold at the box office during the first week following which the second weekend came with a big sigh of relief for the film.

Interestingly, the positive word of mouth has been working in favour of Srikanth during the second week as well as this Rajkummar directorial has been having a good hold at theatres despite continuous drop in numbers. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Srikanth made a collection of Rs 1.40 crores yesterday (day 14/ second Thursday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 31.45 crores as per the early estimates. Given the ongoing trend, Srikanth is expected to stay steady and cross Rs 32 crores mark today (day 15/ third Friay). It will be interesting to see if Srikanth will be seeing a decent growth in numbers during the third weekend.

Interestingly, as Rajkummar is enjoying the love coming his way with Srikant, he is also gearing up for his second release - Mr and Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor which will be releasing on May 31. Helmed by Sharan Sharma, the movie marks Rajkummar's second collaboration with Janvhi after Roohi. Recently, Janhvi got candid about the movie and said, "Our director is a purist and works with a lot of honesty, so he wanted me to become a cricketer for the film. He didn't want any cheating on that, didn't want to use VFX, or do anything half-heartedly. He wanted me to be one with this universe, be a cricketer wholeheartedly. I suffered a lot of injuries as well while prepping. Both my shoulders were dislocated, but I'd like to give all the credit to him, the director, and both my coaches Abhishek Nayar and Vikrant sir, who have done a lot of hard work and have held my hand at every turn"
