Srikanth B.O. Collection Day 8: Rajkummar's Film Starts Week 2 On Solid Note; BEATS Maidaan On 2nd Friday

Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 8: Rajkummar Rao starrer Srikanth Bolla biopic film, Srikanth, has been receiving warm response from the audience and critics alike. The biographical drama opened to a decent box office numbers, despite of mostly positive reviews. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Srikanth is based on the inspiring life of the visually challenged industrialist Srikanth Bolla, who overcame his obstacles and hurdles in his life. The film hit cinemas on May 10, 2024, clashing with Wes Ball's Hollywood sci-fi action adventure, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. As per latest reports, Srikanth has kickstarted its 2nd week of its theatrical run on a solid note. Let's take a look at Srikanth's box office report card.
Srikanth Box Office Collection Report 2nd Friday
Srikanth - starring Rajkummar Rao, Alaya F, Jyotika and Sharad Kelkar among others - had raked in Rs 2.41 crores on its opening day.
Due to the positive word-of-mouth the film eventually picked up pace and minted Rs 11.95 crores on opening weekend. However, the film witnessed a huge drop on Monday.
As posted by T-Series, co-producer of Srikanth, the biographical drama collected Rs 18.04 crores on its 1st week in cinemas. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Srikanth Bolla biopic's day 8 collection is more than what it collected during the weekdays.
As per Taran, Srikanth raked in Rs 1.67 cr on 2nd Friday, taking the total collection to Rs 19.71 crores in 8 days.
Srikanth Beats Maidaan's Day 8 Collection
According to Sacnilk, Rajkummar Rao starrer Srikanth has managed to beat Ajay Devgn's Maidaan day 8 collection. Reportedly, Devgn's biographical sports-drama, which was released on Eid 2024, had collected Rs 1.25 cr on its day 8.
Devgn's Maidaan also clashed with Alshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan at the box office. Both the films are closer to end their theatrical run very soon.
