Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 13 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao is all over the news these days and rightfully so. After all, his recent release Srikanth is winning hearts all across the world. Also starring Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar and Jyothika in the lead, this Tushar Hiranandani directorial is a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries. Interestingly, Rajkummar plays the titular role in the movie and fans have been in absolute awe of his performance.
As Srikanth opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics, it has been enjoying a decent run at the box office. To note, Srikanth started the box office journey with an opening day collection of Rs 2.25 crores followed by a phenomenal opening weekend. While the first week saw certain dips in the numbers, Srikanth continued to have a good hold at the box office and the word of mouth worked in its favour. Interestingly, the second weekend came as a sigh of relief for Srikanth as the movie saw an impressive growth in numbers,
While Srikanth saw a drop of 62% in number on second Monday, it did manage to rake in Rs 1.5 crores on day 11. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Srikanth saw another dip in numbers and has reportedly minted Rs 94 lakhs (as per early estimates) on second Tuesday (day 12) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 28.54 crores. Given the trend, Srikanth is expected to see another a drop in collection today (day 13/ second Wednesday). It is likely to mint Rs 80 lakhs to Rs 1 crores and will be seen inching towards Rs 30 crores mark.
Interestingly, as Rajkummar is enjoying the love coming his way with Srikant, he is now gearing up for his second release - Mr and Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor. Helmed by Sharan Sharma, the movie marks Rajkummar's second collaboration with Janvhi after Roohi. Recently, Janhvi got candid about the movie and said, "Our director is a purist and works with a lot of honesty, so he wanted me to become a cricketer for the film. He didn't want any cheating on that, didn't want to use VFX, or do anything half-heartedly. He wanted me to be one with this universe, be a cricketer wholeheartedly. I suffered a lot of injuries as well while prepping. Both my shoulders were dislocated, but I'd like to give all the credit to him, the director, and both my coaches Abhishek Nayar and Vikrant sir, who have done a lot of hard work and have held my hand at every turn"
