Srikanth Box Office Day 18 Prediction: Rajkummar’s Film To Record Its Lowest Collection Ever On 3rd Monday

Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 18 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao's recent release Srikanth has been making headlines for all the right reasons. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Srikanth is a a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries with Rajkummar playing the titular role. The movie also features Sharad Kelkar, Alaya F and Jyothika in the lead and had opened to rave reviews from the audience.
In fact, Srikanht had been creating a massive buzz in the town ever since it was announced and marked one of Rajkummar's finest performance on screen. Given the substantial buzz, Srikanth managed to rake in Rs 2.25 crores on the day of release followed by an impressive opening weekend. While Srikanth had a freeway at the theatres with no big releases during the entire month, this Rajkummar Rao directorial has been having a good hold at the box office despite continuous drop during the week days.
According to a report published in Sacnilk, Srikanth had a phenomenal third weekend wherein it minted Rs 2.1 crores on day 16 (third Saturday) followed by a collection of Rs 2.35 (early estimates) on day 17 (third Sunday) which reportedly took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 37.10 crores. Given the buzz, Srikanth will be seen witnessing a major dip in collections today (day 18/ third Monday) and is likely to record its lowest collection so far. It is reported that Srikanth will be minting Rs 80 lakhs to Rs 1 crores today.
Interestingly, as Rajkummar is enjoying the love coming his way with Srikant, he is also gearing up for his second release - Mr and Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor which will be releasing on May 31. Helmed by Sharan Sharma, the movie marks Rajkummar's second collaboration with Janvhi after Roohi. Recently, Janhvi got candid about the movie and said, "Our director is a purist and works with a lot of honesty, so he wanted me to become a cricketer for the film. He didn't want any cheating on that, didn't want to use VFX, or do anything half-heartedly. He wanted me to be one with this universe, be a cricketer wholeheartedly. I suffered a lot of injuries as well while prepping. Both my shoulders were dislocated, but I'd like to give all the credit to him, the director, and both my coaches Abhishek Nayar and Vikrant sir, who have done a lot of hard work and have held my hand at every turn"
