Srikanth Box Office Day 21 Prediction: Rajkummar’s Film To Cross 40Cr Mark Ahead Of Mr & Mrs Mahi Release

Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 21 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao is a happy man these days and rightfully so. After all, his first release of the year, Srikanth, which managed to create ripples in the industry since the first day, is winning hearts across the world. Helmed by Tushar Hiranandani, Srikanth also features Sharad Kelkar, Jyothika and Alaya F in the lead. The movie happens to be a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries.

With Rajkummar Rao in the titular role, Srikanth has managed to win millions of hearts with fans calling it the actor's finest performance to date. Interestingly, Srikanth marks Rajkummar's first collaboration with Alaya, Jyothika and Sharad and it has managed to have a good start at the box office. After recording an opening day collection of Rs 2.25 crores, Srikanth saw a decent jump during the opening weekend and had a good hold at the box office during the first week.

While Srikanth was seen struggling during the second week, the third weekend came with a massive jump in numbers following which this Rajkummar Rao starrer managed to cross Rs 37 crores mark at the box office. However, Srikanth has been struggling at the box office in the third week. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Srikanth minted Rs 85 lakhs on third Monday (day 18) followed by an earning of Rs 89 lakhs third Tuesday (day 19) and Rs 85 lakhs yesterday (day 20/ third Wednesday) as per early estimates which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 39.55 crores.

Given the ongoing trend, Srikanth is likely to mint Rs 70-80 lakhs today (day 21/ third Thursday). Interestingly, Srikanth will manage to cross Rs 40 crores mark at the box office ahead of the release of Rajkummar Rao's Mr and Mrs Mahi which is hitting the theatres on May 31.

Interestingly, as Rajkummar is enjoying the love coming his way with Srikant, he is also gearing up for his second release - Mr and Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor. Helmed by Sharan Sharma, the movie marks Rajkummar's second collaboration with Janvhi after Roohi. Recently, Janhvi got candid about the movie and said, "Our director is a purist and works with a lot of honesty, so he wanted me to become a cricketer for the film. He didn't want any cheating on that, didn't want to use VFX, or do anything half-heartedly. He wanted me to be one with this universe, be a cricketer wholeheartedly. I suffered a lot of injuries as well while prepping. Both my shoulders were dislocated, but I'd like to give all the credit to him, the director, and both my coaches Abhishek Nayar and Vikrant sir, who have done a lot of hard work and have held my hand at every turn"
