Srikanth Box Office Day 7 Prediction: Rajkummar’s Film To Cross 18Cr In A Week Amid Clash With KOTPOTA?

Srikanth Box Office Collection Day 7 Prediction: The month of May has turned out to be quite happening for Rajkummar Rao. After all, he has come up with his first release of the year recently and it has managed to create ripples in the town. We are talking about Tushar Hiranandani's recent directorial Srikanth which also features Jyothika, Sharad Kelkar and Alaya F. The movie is a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries.
While trailer and the stellar cast managed to create a substantial buzz in the town, Srikanth saw a good opening at the box office despite facing a box office clash with Wes Ball's Kingdom Of The Planet Of Apes. For the uninitiated, Srikanth minted Rs 2.25 crores on the opening day and went on to have a strong hold at the box office during the opening weekend. Although Srikanth did see a dip in numbers on first Monday, it seems to have maintained a good hold despite drop in collections.
According to a report published in Sacnilk, Srikanth made a collection of Rs 1.6 crores on first Tuesday (day 5) followed by an earning of Rs 1.50 yesterday (day 6/ first Wednesday) which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 16.45 crores. Given the ongoing trend, Srikanth is likely to make a collection of Rs 1-1.5 crores today (day 7/ first Thurday) and is likely to cross Rs 18 crore mark in the first week despite facing a competition from Kingdom Of The Planet Of Apes.
Meanwhile, Rajkummar got candid about playing the lead role in Srikanth and stated that he could relate to his background. "I could definitely resonate with his perseverance, with his grit and his working nature. I wouldn't say exactly, but I could somehow relate to his background because he too comes from a very humble background. And in my life also there were a lot of hardships when it came to money and having a big dream in life and to actually achieve that dream was something I could relate to," he told Firstpost.
