Stree 2 Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Rajkummar’s Film Beats Fighter, Kalki 2898 AD; Creates THIS Record

Stree 2 Advance Booking Collection Day 1 Report: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 has been one of the most talked about films of the year and it has managed to take over the tinselvile with a storm. This Amar Kaushik directorial is the sequel to the 2018 release Stree and happens to be the fifth installment of Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya and Munjya. With an intriguing trailer and impressive cast, Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank has certainly left the audience excited.
Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in the lead, Stree 2 is all set to hit the theatres on Independence day 2024. Given the buzz around the film, the makers initiated the advance booking collection of the film days ahead of the release, and Stree 2 has managed to set the box office on fire before release and has been shattering records. In fact, Stree 2 is undoubtedly eyeing a massive opening at the box office.
Stree 2 Beats Kalki 2898 AD Ahead Of Release
According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 has sold over 3.7 lakh tickets for the first day and has made a collection of Rs 11.21 crores from advance booking so far. To note, with a phenomenal response from the advance booking, Stree 2 has managed to beat Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter which had minted Rs 8.4 crores from advance booking collection for the first day. This isn't all. Stree 2 has also managed to surpass advance booking collection of Kalki 2898 AD in Hindi market which was around Rs 8.6 crores
In fact, given Stree 2's massive buzz, it is likely to surpass the advance booking collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki which happened to be Rs 15.41 crores. It will be interesting to see if Stree 2 will be able to beat advance booking collection of Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 (Rs 17.6 crores)
Meanwhile, talking about Stree 2, Rajkummar Rao had told Film Companion, "Same word, same people. It's bigger for sure, same duniya, kuch nahi badla hai. I think jo soul thi uss film ki wo isme bhi hai". To note, Stree 2 is all set to have a box office clash with Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor starrer Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham and Sharvari's action drama Vedaa. It will be interesting to see who will win the box office game
