Stree 2 Advance Booking Collection Day 1: Rajkummar’s Film Beats Gadar 2 & Dunki; Eyes A Massive Opening

Stree 2 Advance Booking Collection Day 1: The wait is finally over as Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's much talked about movie Stree 2 has finally hit the screens. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is the much awaited sequel to Stree which was a massive hit among the fans. Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, Stree 2 has been one of the most anticipated movies of the year and has managed to create a massive buzz in the town.

Interestingly, Stree 2 happens to be the fifth installment of Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya and Munjya. Needless to say, Stree 2 has managed to keep the audience intrigued with its trailer and songs. Given the craze among the audience, the makers had initiated the advance booking of Stree 2 days before the release and it has received a phenomenal response from the audience.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank has managed to sell over 6.7 lakh tickets for the opening day and the movie has minted Rs 19.27 crores from the advance booking. Interestingly, Stree 2 has managed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki and Sunny Deol's Gadar 2. For the uninitiated, while Dunki made a collection of Rs 15.41 crores from the advance day booking, Gadar 2 raked in Rs 17.6 crores.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar got candid about his bromance with Abhishek and Aparshakti and told Zoom, "It hardly happens that you get such great co-actors who also become your friends and brothers and Stree's backbone, foundation is the friendship between Bicky, Bittoo and Jena and we are so happy to showcase that so beautifully on the screen. When the bond is strong off screen it shows on screen also. I am grateful to have Abhishek and Apar in the film because, without them, Stree wouldn't have happened.
