Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 16 Prediction: Shraddha’s Film Moves Towards 450Cr Ahead Of 3rd Weekend

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 16 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor have all the reasons to be on cloud nine these days and rightfully so. After all, their second collaboration Stree 2 has managed to create havoc at the box office. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is a horror comedy which also features Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi in key roles along with cameos by Varun Dhawan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Akshay Kumar. Interestingly, Stree 2 has managed to garner rave reviews from the audience.

Stree 2 managed to start the box office journey with a collection of Rs 60.3 crores in India and has been roaring loud at the box office since the first day. After an impressive collection of over 190 crores during the opening weekend to crossing Rs 300 crores mark ahead of the second weekend, Stree 2 has emerged as one of the biggest releases of the year. In fact, this Amar Kaushik directorial has become the highest grossing film of 2024 so far and is yet to create more records. While Stree 2 has slowed down in the second week, the horror comedy is expected to reach another milestone today

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 15

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 has been struggling to rake in a double digit number in a single day at the box office during the week 2. After a significant drop in numbers of over 50% on second Monday and earning a collection of Rs 18.5 crores and saw another drop in numbers on day 13 (second Tuesday) wherein it earned Rs 11.75 crores. The struggle continued as Stree 2 minted Rs 9.75 crores on day 14 (second Wednesday). In fact, day 15 (third Thursday) came with no relief as it saw another slight drop and earned Rs 8.25 crores taking the overall collections of the movie to Rs 432.80 crores.

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 16 Prediction: Will Stree 2 Cross 500Cr During 3rd Weekend

Given the ongoing trend, Stree 2 is likely to inch close to Rs 450 crores mark now. The movie is expected to mint Rs 8-10 crores at the box office today (day 16/ third Friday) and will be crossing Rs 440 crores mark. As the third weekend is here, it will be interesting to see if Stree 2 will be able to cross Rs 500 crores mark during this weekend.

Is Stree 2 On Cards?

Given the phenomenal success of Stree and Stree 2, fans have been eagerly waiting for the Stree 3 and speculations about the same have already begun. Interestingly, Abhishek Banerjee also dropped hints about the same and told Indian Express, "It will take time. Now that Stree 2 has become such a big hit, I know that it won't take six years to make it, like we did with Stree 2. That's for sure. Some parts of the script are already written. It is going to be a big epic saga and as an actor I am dying to be back on that set".
