Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 19 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2, which has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year, has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 has been the fifth installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya and Munjya. Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in the lead, Stree 2 also boasted cameos by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan and Tamannaah Bhatia.

Interestingly, Stree 2 opened to rave reviews and recorded the highest opening day collection of 2024 with an earning of Rs 60.3 crores. The horror comedy roared it loud during the opening weekend and also maintained a good hold at the box office during the first week. And as it saw a significant jump during the second week, it recorded the highest second Sunday collection of all times. However, this was followed by a massive drop in numbers during the second week.

Interestingly, Stree 2 saw a decent jump in numbers during the third weekend. After a collection of Rs 16.5 crores on day 17 (third Saturday), Stree 2 raked in Rs 22 crores yesterday (day 18/ third Sunday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 480.05 crores. Given the ongoing trend, Stree 2 is likely to see a shocking drop in numbers today (day 19/ third Monday). Stree 2 is likely to mint Rs 5-8 crores today and will be seen inching close to Rs 500 crores mark. It will be interesting to see if Stree 2 can enter the prestigious Rs 500 crore club during the third week.

Is Stree 3 On Cards?

Meanwhile, Abhishek Banerjee has spilled beans about the third installment of Stree series and told Indian Express, "It will take time. Now that Stree 2 has become such a big hit, I know that it won't take six years to make it, like we did with Stree 2. That's for sure. Some parts of the script are already written. It is going to be a big epic saga and as an actor I am dying to be back on that set"
