Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 23 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2, which happens to be a horror comedy, has been one of the biggest releases of the year. The much awaited sequel of the 2018 release Stree, this Amar Kaushik has set the box office on fire from the first day and has finally ended the dry spell at the box office. After recording the opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores and becoming the highest opener of 2024, Stree 2 has been shining bright at the box office and giving a tough fight to other releases. In fact, it has also emerged as a strong competitor to Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 and Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan which had hit the screens last year. And now, as Stree 2 has entered the fourth week at the ticket windows, it is looking forward to achieving new milestones in the fourth weekend.

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 22: Stree 2 Becomes Second Fastest Movie To Cross 500Cr

After witnessing a strong growth at the box office during the third weekend, Stree 2 saw a significant and continuous drop in numbers during the third week. However, despite the drop, Stree 2 managed to have a hold at the box office and managed to cross Rs 500 crore mark. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 minted Rs 5.31 crores on day 22 (fourth Thursday) taking the overall collections of the movie to Rs 503.21 crores. Interestingly, Stree 2 has become the second fastest movie to enter the coveted Rs 500 crores club after Jawan.

Given the ongoing trend, Stree 2 is expected to mint Rs 4-5 crores today (day 23/ fourth Friday) at the box office. Interestingly, the horror comedy will be seen inching close to Rs 510 crores ahead of the fourth weekend. It will be interesting to see if Stree 2 will be able to touch Rs 600 crores mark during the fourth weekend.

Meanwhile, after the phenomenal success of Stree 2, there have been speculations about the makers planning the third installment. Talking about the same, Abhishek Banerjee, who plays the role of Janaa in the franchise, told the Indian Express that while Stree 3 will take some time, some parts of the script have been written. He also emphasised that it will be "a big epic saga".
