Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 24 Early Update: Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead, Stree 2 has become the biggest movie of the year as of now. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the supernatural horror-comedy sequel had a major box office clash on Independence Day 2024 with Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham starrer 'Vedaa'. Starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee, Stree 2 opened to positive response from fans and critics alike, earning Rs 51.8 cr (excluding paid reviews) on day 1. The film went on to earn around Rs 291.65 cr in 1st week, Rs 141.4 cr in 2nd week and Rs 70.2 cr in 3rd week.

According to Sacnilk, the movie witnessed a drop in numbers on 4th Friday, recording its lowest single day numbers. Reportedly, the film managed to mint around Rs 4.5 cr, taking the total estimated nett collection to Rs 507.75 cr in 23 days.

Reportedly, Stree 2 worldwide collection now stands at Rs 725 cr.

Given the festive mood of Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 and the current buzz, Stree 2 is expected to see a growth in numbers today (4th Saturday). As per the latest Sacnilk report, the film has already raked in around Rs 3.9 cr till 4:45 PM on 4th Sat (day 24). Going by the buzz, the film is likely to earn between Rs 5-7 cr today.

Will Stree 2 Break Jawan's Box Office Record?

Shah Rukh Khan starrer record-breaking film Jawan has completed 1 year of its release today. The Atlee directorial, which had starred all the box office records and become the highest grossing Indian film, had grossed over Rs 1148 cr worldwide. In India, it earned Rs 643.87 Nett and Rs 761.98 cr gross.

Looks like, Shraddha-Rajkummar's Stree 2 won't be able to able to break Jawan's box office record. The horror-comedy still need to earn more than Rs 100 cr to beat Jawan's nett collection. however, it's not impossible.
