Stree 2 Box Office Day 25 Prediction: Shraddha’s Film To Cross 525Cr; Set To Beat Pathaan’s Lifetime Earnings

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 25 Prediction: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 has emerged as the biggest hits of the year 2024 and there are no second thoughts about it. The horror comedy, which has been helmed by Amar Kaushik, revolves around the sarkata bhoot who has been haunting the town of Chanderi. Also starring Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee, Stree 2 is the sequel to the 2018 release Stree and has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

As Stree 2 was releases amid a massive fan buzz, it did manage to live up the audience's expectation and has been roaring loud at the box office. This Amar Kaushik directorial made an opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores and recorded the highest opening day collection of 2024. Stree 2 has managed to set the box office on fire since the first day and has been creating new records along with giving a tough competition to Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan and Sunny Deol's Gadar 2.

Interestingly, while Stree 2 was seen struggling during the third week, it has managed to pick up pace during the fourth weekend and saw a growth of 94%. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 minted Rs 8.75 crores yesterday (day 24/ fourth Saturday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 516.50 crores. Given the ongoing trend, Stree 2 is likely to see another hike in numbers today (day 25/ fourth Sunday) and is likely to mint Rs 10-15 crores at the box office. As Stree 2 is expected to cross Rs 525 crores at the box office, it is now eyeing to surpass the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan which was around Rs 543 crores. It will be interesting to see if Stree 2 can beat Pathaan in week 4

Meanwhile, after the phenomenal success of Stree 2, there have been speculations about the makers planning the third installment. Talking about the same, Abhishek Banerjee, who plays the role of Janaa in the franchise, told the Indian Express that while Stree 3 will take some time, some parts of the script have been written. He also emphasised that it will be "a big epic saga".
