Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 26 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's second collaboration Stree 2 has been the talk of the town ever since it was released. After all, the movie not only marked Rajkummar and Shraddha's second collaboration but also marked the second installment of the 2018 release Stree. Interestingly, this Amar Kaushik directorial happens to be a horror comedy which revolves around the sarkata bhoot which has been haunting the Chanderi village.

Apart from Rajkummar and Shraddha, Stree 2 also featured Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee in the key roles along with cameos by Akshay Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan. Stree 2 recorded the highest opening of 2024 with an opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores followed by a strong hold at the ticket windows during the first and second weeks. In fact, Stree 2 has been been shattering box office records almost everyday giving a tough competition to hits like Jawan, Pathaan, Gadar 2 etc

Interestingly, Stree 2 witnessed an impressive hike in collection during the fourth weekend. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 raked in Rs 8.5 crores on the fourth Saturday (day 24). The movie saw another jump in numbers on fourth Sunday (day 25) and went on to earn Rs 10.75 crores on fourth Sunday which took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 527 crores. In fact, Stree 2 recorded the highest day 25 collection of all times.

Given the ongoing trends, Stree 2 is likely to see a massive dip in numbers today (day 26/ fourth Monday). The movie is likely to earn Rs 4-5 crores today and will be crossing Rs 530 crores mark. With Kareena Kapoor Khan's The Buckingham Murders hitting the screens on September 13, it will be interesting to see of Stree 2 will manage to cross Rs 550 crores in week 4

Meanwhile, after the phenomenal success of Stree 2, there have been speculations about the makers planning the third installment. Talking about the same, Abhishek Banerjee, who plays the role of Janaa in the franchise, told the Indian Express that while Stree 3 will take some time, some parts of the script have been written. He also emphasised that it will be "a big epic saga".
