Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 28: Rajkummar’s Film Earns Almost Double Of Jawan’s Numbers; Crosses 536Cr

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 28: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 has been one of the biggest releases of 2024 which has ended the dry spell at the box office. The movie happens to be a horror comedy which is directed by Amar Kaushik and also features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles along with cameos by Tamannah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar. A sequel to the 2018 release Stree, Stree 2 opened to rave reviews from the audience

In fact, it saw an impressive start at the box office with an opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores in India and crossed Rs 290 crores mark in the first week itself. Ever since then, Stree 2 has been maintaining a good hold at the box office and has been shattering several records. In fact, this Amar Kaushik directorial also became the first movie to cross Rs 500 crores in 2024. And while Stree 2 has completed four weeks at the box office, it has slowed down at the box office.

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 28: Stree 2 Mints 38.68Cr In Week 4

Stree 2 has been witnessing a significant and continuous drop in collections and seems to be struggling at the box office post the fourth weekend. The movie recorded Rs 3.25 crores on fourth Monday (day 26) followed by a collection of Rs 3.1 crores on fourth Tuesday (day 27). Interestingly, Stree 2 saw another drop in numbers and minted Rs 2.98 crores on day 28 (fourth Wednesday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 536.58 crores. To note, Stree 2 has managed to make an overall collection of Rs 38.68 crores in week 4 which is an impressive number indeed.

Stree 2 Beats Jawan; Records Highest Day 28 Collection

Interestingly, Stree 2 has been giving a tough competition to Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster hits Jawan and Pathaan at the box office. With a collection of Rs 2.98 crores on day 28, Stree 2 has managed to mint almost double of Jawan's collection which was around Rs 1.86 crores. In fact, Stree 2 has recorded the highest day 28 collection all times.

Stree 2 OTT Release Details

After creating a havoc at the ticket windows, Stree 2 is all set to make its way on OTT platform in less than two months. According to media reports, Stree 2 will be releasing on Prime Video on September 27 and will premiere at around midnight.
