Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 29 Prediction: Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has been one of the biggest blockbuster hits of the year. The horror comedy, which was helmed by Amar Kaushik, happens to be the fifth installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya and Munjya. To note, Stree 2 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year given a stupendous success of 2018 release Stree. Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, Stree 2 has been the talk of the town since the first day.

Revolving around the sarkata bhoot haunting the women of Chanderi, Stree 2 had opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics. In fact, this Amar Kaushik directorial had recorded an opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores and entered the Rs 200 crore club in the first week itself. The second week also saw a good hold by the film as Stree 2 ruled the ticket windows crushing films like Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa. However, Stree 2 started witnessing a continuous drop in collections during the third week followed by a struggling fourth week.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 minted Rs 3.1 crores on fourth Tuesday (Day 27) and saw a 3.8% dip in numbers yesterday. The movie minted Rs 2.98 crores yesterday (day 28/ fourth Wednesday) taking the overall collections of the movie to Rs 536.58 crores. In fact, Stree 2 recorded the highest day 28 collections of all times and also made a collection of Rs 38.68 crores in week 4.

Given the ongoing trends, Stree 2 is likely to see another drop in numbers today (day 29/ fifth Thursday) as it is likely to earn Rs 2-2.5 crores at the box office. The movie is likely to inch close to Rs 540 crores. With Kareena Kapoor Khan's The Buckingham Murders hitting the screens tomorrow (September 13), it will be interesting to see if Stree 2 can outshine the new release.

Stree 2 OTT Release Details

After creating a havoc at the ticket windows, Stree 2 is all set to make its way on OTT platform in less than two months. According to media reports, Stree 2 will be releasing on Prime Video on September 27 and will premiere at around midnight.
