Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 tsunami continues. After a long wait for nearly 6 years, Stree 2 hit cinemas on 15th August and took the box office on fire. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy sequel has become the biggest release of the year. Stree 2, which marks the 4th film in Maddock Films' horror-comedy universe, also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee. Stree 2 Box Office Collection First Saturday

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao joined hands together once again for Stree 2. Amid much anticipation, the supernatural horror-comedy sequel released in cinemas on Independence Day, clashing with Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa. And, Stree 2 is the clear winner.

As posted by Maddock Films, Stree 2 scripted 'hi-stree' on day 1 and opened to a whopping box office collection of Rs 76.5 cr (including paid reviews). As per Taran Adarsh, Stree 2 has marked the second highest Bollywood opener after Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan'. While Stree 2 minted Rs 55.40 cr (without paid reviews), Jawan had raked in Rs 65.50 cr on day 1.

Despite having a slight drop, the film Shraddha-Rajkummar's film earned Rs 31.4 cr on Friday, as per Sacnilk. According to the latest Sacnilk report, Shraddha-Rajkummar's film minted around Rs 44 cr (early estimates), taking the total estimated collection to Rs 151.9 cr (rough data) in just 3 days.

Stree 2 Vs Stree Box Office Collection

Stree, which was released in 2018, was one of the highest grossers of the year. As per reports, the film earned over Rs 180 cr. Now, the sequel is also heading towards to cross its first part's lifetime collection.
