Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Continues To Smash Box Office Records, DEETS

Stree 2: Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 continues to roar at the box office as the horror-comedy shines above all. After becoming the biggest opener of the year, the film has now shattered another record by becoming the first female-led film to enter 100 Cr(Gross collection) club within 2 days of its release. After that, Stree 2's trend to smash the box office continues on day 3 as well.

According to the early estimate report by Sacnilk, Stree 2's tsunami continued on day 3 as the movie collected Rs. 44 Cr nett in India on its first weekend. Now, the total nett collection of the movie stands at Rs. 135.7 Cr in India. While, on day 1, it collected Rs. 51.8 Cr, Rs. 31.4 Cr has been collected on day 2. To note more, the movie has collected Rs. 8.5 Cr before its release on its paid preview day. The report further suggested that the movie had 55.72% Hindi occupancy on Saturday.

Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the movie is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddocks Film and Jio Studios. Apart from Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, it also stars Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles. The movie also features Varun Dhawan reprising his role as Bhediya. He has featured in a song as well with Shraddha which is composed by Sachin-Jigar.

For the unversed, the film is a reprise version of 2018 hit film, Stree. The film was released alongside Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein that starred John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh and Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor respectively.
