Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 31: Rajkummar’s Film Surpasses SRK’s Pathaan’s Lifetime Collection In Week 5

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 31: Rajkummar Rao has all the reasons to be on cloud nine these days and rightfully so. After all, his third release of the year is doing wonders at the box office. Yes! After winning hearts with Srikanth and Mr & Mrs Mahi, Rajkummar came with the much anticipated Stree 2 which has taken the box office by a storm. Also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, Stree 2 was helmed by Amar Kaushik and was the fifth installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya and Munjya.

Revolving around the sarkat bhoot haunting Chanderi, Stree 2 recorded the highest opening day collection of 2024 with a collection of Rs 60.3 crores on the day of release. The movie, which got a freeway at the box office with no big releases in its way, managed to shatter several box office records. Stree 2 has been giving a tough fight to big blockbusters like Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar 2, Baahubali 2, KGF 2 etc. And while Stree 2 has been witnessing a continuous drop in collections since week 4, it has been trying to maintain a good hold.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2, which earned Rs 2.75 crores on day 29 (fifth Thursday), saw a growth in numbers and raked in Rs 3.35 crores on day 30 (fifth Friday). Interestingly, the fifth weekend came with another hike in collections as Stree 2 earned Rs 5.25 crores on day 31 (fifth Saturday) and took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 547.95 crores.

Stree 2 Beats Pathaan Lifetime Collection

Interestingly, Rajkummar and Shraddha starrer Stree 2, which has left everyone in absolute awe of its box office performance, has managed to beat the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan starrer 2023 release Pathaan. For the uninitiated, Pathan had made a lifetime collection of Rs 543.05 crores.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar is now gearing up for the release of his fourth film of the year. We are talking about Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video opposite Triptii Dimri which is slated to release on October 11. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is touted to be a comedy drama.
