Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 33: Rajkummar’s Film Earns Over Three Times Of Jawan’s 5th Monday Numbers

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 33: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 has been one of the biggest releases of the year. The horror comedy is helmed by Amar Kaushik and is the much awaited sequel to the 2018 release Stree. Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles and cameos by Tamannaah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar, Stree 2 has opened to rave reviews from the audience in India and across the world.

Revolving around the sarkata bhoot haunting Chanderi, Stree 2 has managed to set the box office on fire since the first day. The movie recorded the highest opening of the year 2024 with a collection of Rs 60.3 crores. Stree 2 has been ruling the box office ever since and has been creating new records. In fact, Stree 2 has become the first film of 2024 to enter the prestigious Rs 500 crores club in India. Interestingly, the Amar Kaushik directorial, which is in the fifth week, has refused to slow down as of now.

Stree 2, which was seen struggling during the fourth week, took a sigh of relief during the fifth weekend and even crossed the lifetime collection of Pathaan. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 made a collection of Rs 5.4 crores on day 31 (fifth Saturday) followed by an earning of Rs 6.75 crores on day 32 (fifth Sunday). Interestingly, Stree 2 maintained a good hold at the box office on day 33 (fifth Monday) despite a dip in numbers. The movie raked in Rs 3 crores on day 33 which took the overall collections of Rs 557.85 crores.

Stree 2 Earns Three Times More Than Jawan On Fifth Monday; Creates A Record

Interestingly, Stree 2 has been giving a tough competition to iconic hits like Jaan, Pathaa and Gadar 2. In fact, Stree 2 has managed to beat Jawan with a massive gap on the fifth Monday as it earned over thrice the collection of Shah Rukh Khan starrer. For the uninitiated, Jawan had minted Rs 85 lakhs on the fifth Monday. This isn't all. Stree 2 has recorded the highest day 33 collection of all times.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar is now gearing up for the release of his fourth film of the year. We are talking about Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video opposite Triptii Dimri which is slated to release on October 11. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is touted to be a comedy drama.
