Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 34: Rajkummar Rao has all the reasons to grin from ear to ear as the year 2024 has turned out to be quite happening for him. After all, he has come up with three releases so far. Post an impressive performance in Srikanth and Mr & Mrs Mahi, Rajkummar Rao is now making headlines for his recent release Stree 2 which has emerged as the biggest hits of the year and has set the box office on fire since the first day. Also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, Stree 2 is the sequel to 2018 release Stree

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 revolves around the sarkata bhoot haunting the women of Chanderi and also boasts the cameos by Varun Dhawan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Akshay Kumar. The movie opened to rave reviews and recorded the highest opening of 2024 with an opening day collection of Rs 60.3 crores. The movie has been doing wonders at the box office and has managed to crush other releases like John Abraham's Vedaa and Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein. And as Stree 2 is in the fifth week, it continues to go strong at the box office.

Interestingly, Stree 2 witnessed an impressive hike during the fifth weekend at the box office and has been staying steady post a significant dip in numbers on the fifth Monday. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 raked in Rs 3 crores on day 33 (5th Monday) and say a drop of 15% in collection on day 34 (5th Tuesday). The movie minted Rs 2.53 crores and took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 560.38 crores.

Interestingly, Stree 2 has been creating records with every passing day at the box office. With a collection of Rs 2.53 crores on 5th Tuesday (September 17) , Stree 2 has recorded the highest day 34 collection of all times after beating Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike which had minted Rs 1.6 crores. To note, Stree 2 has also managed to crush Kareena Kapoor Khan's recent release The Buckingham Murders which had hit the screens on September 13. Reportedly, The Buckingham Murders has reportedly earned Rs 75 lakhs on its first Tuesday (September 17) at the box office owing to the Stree 2 effect.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar is now gearing up for the release of his fourth film of the year. We are talking about Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video opposite Triptii Dimri which is slated to release on October 11. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is touted to be a comedy drama.
