Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Shraddha’s Film Beats Pathaan, KGF 2; Creates THIS Record In 1st Weekend

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are all over the headlines these days and rightfully so. After all, their second collaboration Stree 2 has managed to set the box office on fire since the first day itself. To note, the horror comedy is the much awaited sequel to Amar Kaushik's 2018 release Stree and the movie has managed to open to a grand response from the audience and critics. Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee in the the lead, Stree 2 seems to be unstoppable at the box office.
After recording the highest opening day collection of 2024 and the highest opener ever for Rajkummar and Shraddha respectively with a collection of Rs 60.3 crores (including paid reviews), Stree 2 has been witnessing an impressive hold at the box office and has been shattering records. After a slight dip in numbers on the second day, Stree 2 saw a good hike during the opening weekend and left everyone in absolute awe. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 raked in Rs 31.4 crores on day 2 (first Friday), followed by a collection of Rs 43.85 crores on day 3 (first Saturday).

Interestingly, Stree 2 saw another jump in collections on its first Sunday (day 4) wherein it raked in Rs 55 crores at the box office which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 190.55 crores. To note, with a phenomenal performance at the box office, Stree 2 has managed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, Yash's KGF Chapter 2 and Prabhas' Baahubali 2 to create a new record.

Reportedly, with a collection of Rs 55 crores on day 4, Stree 2 has recorded the second highest day 4 collection in India after Jawan which earned Rs 71.63 crores. For the uninitiated, Pathaan had earned Rs 51.5 crores on day 4 while KGF 2 and Baahubali 2 settled at Rs 50.35 crores and Rs 40.25 crores respectively.
Meanwhile, Stree 2 had witnessed a box office clash with Akshay Kumar's
Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa and the horror comedy has managed to crush the other releases at the box office.
