Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 8 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are all over the news these days given the phenomenal run of their recent release Stree 2. The movie happens to be the much awaited sequel of the 2018 release horror comedy Stree and is helmed by Amar Kaushik. Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in the lead, Stree 2 is the fifth installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya and Munjya
As Stree 2 had opened to rave reviews at the box office, it has managed to take the box office by a storm since the first day itself. After recording the highest opening day collection with an earning of Rs 60.3 crores (including paid reviews), Stree 2 has been unstoppable. The movie saw an impressive response at the box office during the opening weekend. And while the first Monday came with a significant dip for Stree 2, the horror comedy has managed to maintain a good hold at the ticket windows.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 minted Rs 38.1 crores on day 5 (first Monday) followed by a collection of Rs 25.8 crores on day 6 (first Tuesday). The horror comedy raked in Rs 20 crores yesterday (day 7/ first Wednesday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 275.35 crores. Given the ongoing trend, Stree 2 is likely to see a dip in numbers today (day 8/ second Thursday) and mint Rs 15-20 crores at the box office as it inches close to Rs 300 crores mark.
Meanwhile, talking about the phenomenal success of Stree 2, Amar Kaushik told Connect Cine, "I didn't expect this big response. I think the audience wants such films to come out. Where ever I would go, people kept asking me 'What is the end of Stree?' This film was made on public demand. We didn't hurry with this film because we wanted to do justice to the story. We thought it clicked well with the public when we released the trailer but when we opened the advance ticket sale, we were like, 'What is happening?' This is just love of the public".
