Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 9 Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's recent release Stree 2 has been one of the most anticipated movies of the year and it has been creating waves at the box office ever since it was released on August 15. Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, this Amar Kaushik directorial witnessed a box office clash with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa. However, despite a major clash, Stree 2 has managed to become a box office winner and has been creating new records every day.

For the uninitiated, unlike Stree, Stree 2 is dealing with sarkata bhoot who has been targetting the women of Chanderi town and the horror comedy has come with an interesting plot which has kept the audience intrigued. As Stree 2 has managed to create a massive buzz in the town, it opened to rave reviews from the audience. In fact, Stree 2 recorded the highest opening of 2024 with an impressive collection of Rs 60.3 crores (including paid reviews).

After witnessing a phenomenal opening weekend, Stree 2 has been witnessing a continuous drop in collections during the week 1. However, despite the drop, Stree 2 maintained a good hold at the box office and minted over Rs 270 crores in the first week. And now, as Stree 2 is in the second week, it continues to shine bright at the box office.

Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 9 Prediction

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Stree 2 made a collection of Rs 16 crores yesterday (day 8/ second Thursday) which took the overall collections of the movie to Rs 290.85 crores. Given the ongoing trend, Stree 2 is likely to see a slight drop in numbers today (day 9/ second Friday) and is likely to mint Rs 10-15 crores eventually crossing Rs 300 crores mark at the box office

Stree 2 To Create A Record Today

If the reports turned out to be true, Stree 2 will be beating Prabhas' Baahubali 2 and become the fifth fastest movie to cross Rs 300 crore mark after Jawan, Pathaan, Animal and Gadar 2. While Jawan achieved the milestone in 6 days, Pathaan and Animal the coveted club in 7 days. On the other hand, Gadar 2 took 8 days to cross Rs 300 crores mark.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Banerjee has spilled beans about the third installment of Stree series and told Indian Express, "It will take time. Now that Stree 2 has become such a big hit, I know that it won't take six years to make it, like we did with Stree 2. That's for sure. Some parts of the script are already written. It is going to be a big epic saga and as an actor I am dying to be back on that set"
